Reported nuisance fire on Ridge Road in the hamlet of Fayette. Same location as Call #55. Further investigation found a home owner burning old carpet. Smoke resulted from a shorted electric hot water heater. Power was turned off to the appliance and the thermal imaging camera was used to ensure that there was no extension into the surrounding area.
