Reported nuisance fire on Ridge Rd in Fayette. Resident found attending a small brush fire in compliance with DEC regulations. A stove fire was the cause which was reported as out at the time. 403 responded. 10 men present. Dispatched 01:01 / En Route 01:14 / On Scene 01:44 / In Service 03:46 Resident near the intersection of Rte 414 & Yellow Tavern Rd stated that lightning struck a poll, requested FD respond to check it out. Nothing found when FFD units arrived on location. 403 responded. 8 men present. Dispatched 12:45 / En Route 12:45 / On Scene 12:50 / In Service 12:55 Mutual Aid to Magee & Waterloo. 421 responded to the thruway where Magee & mutual aid departments were extinguishing a fully engulfed bus & tractor trailer fire. 403 responded to standby in Waterloo’s station. 421 & 403 responded. 13 men present. Dispatched 01:30 / En Route 01:31 / On Scene 01:45 / In Service 04:30 South Seneca Ambulance responded to a call on Rte 414 south of Marsh Rd for a bicycle accident. Varick was dispatched for their CFR’s. SSA determined that one victim needed to be air lifted and requested FFD for the landing zone. Mercy Flight landed on Rte 414. 403 responded. 5 men present.
